Educator Adjustments are optional dollar value amounts on an hourly rate that can be passed on to the Educators, separately from their rate as specified via the Fees.
These adjustments are added on in the Enrolment Table when creating an enrolment for a child and do not apply to the parent/guardian portion of the charge.
The adjustments are automatically calculated based on:
- The total number of hours the child is enrolled for, regardless of the funding type.
- The funded hours, excluding any 20 hours ECE hours.
Creating an Educator Adjustment
1. Navigate to Service Setup > Educator Adjustments.
2. Enter the Adjustment Name.
3. Select either 'Educator Payment - Total Hours' or 'Educator Payment - Funded Hours exc 20 Hours ECE.
4. Enter the '$ Amount' (hourly).
5. Set the maximum daily cap (hours) and the maximum weekly cap (hours).
6. Click 'Create'.
Applying an Educator Adjustment
1. Navigate to the Child Record > Enrolment Tab.
2. Click 'Create Enrolment', and set up the enrolment as required.
3. Under the Enrolment Fees table, select the + button next to 'Enrolment Fee'.
4. Scroll to 'Educator Payments' and select your adjustment, then click 'Add'*.
5. Save the enrolment as normal.
*The adjustment will be visible under the 'Educator Payments' heading, and can be removed by clicking on the - button to the right-hand side.
