Service Set Up for Homebased

Centre/Service Details

As you can seein Discover you can customise the software for how you want to run your service

As you are coming from another software provider, please understand that we import Centrebased, Homebased, and many other types of licenses into Discover. You will see that Centre & Service are used interchangeably throughout these articles, as it depends on your license as to what will show in Discover.

Below is a run down of all the Settings, and how to get your service set up for success.

Once you are able to log into your service, go to Centre/Service Set Up > Centre/Service Details & Check the Centre Information that has been entered by your Onboarding Specialist.

If you hover over the (i) icons, the system will give you extra information.

In this guide we will flag any of the settings that are optional, based on how you are operating your service.

Please check to make sure this is all correct. This would have been entered by your Onboarding Specialist.

Waitlist Settings (OPTIONAL)

If using digital Enquiries & Waitlists you can edit how often Emails  re sent by changing the Waitlist Confirmation Weeks field.

When the parent clicks to confirm they want to stay, Discover adds the most recent date when the reminder was sent. It will show in the Waitlist Confirmation Date field.

If the parent selects to be removed, they will be removed immediately and the center will be notified via email. The child will be returned to an Enquiry status with a sub-status of Not Interested, so they will not appear in searches but will still be recorded in your enquiry statistics.
