Homebased Educators can make use of the Discover app to have families sign in and out, record child and home information and enter payments.
To set up your staff member on the tablet:
1. Navigate to Staff > Staff & Educators.
2. Select your Educator from the list and click on the 'Staff Details' tab.
3. Click the blue 'Email Instructions' button* to the right side of the page.
4. Your educator will receive an email directing them to get their tablet set up.
*The email the Educators receive can be customised to include important information.
Navigate to Service Set Up > Templates > Search for "Tablet Setup - Educator Instructions". Clicking on the title, you will be able to adjust the information your Educators receive.
Please note: Your Educators will need to use the service email, a secret token and their own pin to use the tablet. For this reason, we do not recommend removing the fields highlighted below from the Tablet Setup template.
Educator pins can be set in the Staff details tab per the image above.
