Discover Onboarding Milestones - Migration from another Software Provider

Welcome to Discover,


There are some key steps to complete to ensure your onboarding is as smooth as possible. 

In your Welcome Call, your Onboarding Specialist will discuss with you the Milestones, Book in your Calls, and a roll out plan for a Successful Onboarding experience.


The team is here to help, so please don't hesitate to get in touch should you have any questions at any stage! 

Your Onboarding Specialist will be there to guide you, every step of the way with resources for you and your staff. 



Milestone 1: Set Up Discover for Success

  • Attend your Welcome Call with your Onboarding Specialist
  • Return the Information required - Centre Set Up, Fees, & Holiday Policy
  • If you would like to use the Digital Enrolment Form in Discover, please send through a copy of your existing Enrolment Form and we can set this up for you.
  • Follow the instructions on how to Customise Discover for your Service.
  • Your Onboarding Specialist will set up your Service / Centre & Book your Migration if required

  • **Depending on the original software provider you are migrating from, will determine what we can/can't migrate. Your Onboarding Specialist will discuss this with you. **


Milestone 2: Mastering Profiles

  • Attend your Discover Staff Profiles Session with your Onboarding Specialist
  • Attend your Discover Child & Parent Profiles, Enrolments (Bookings, Timetables) & Attestations
  • Add any information to Discover that could not be migrated


Milestone 3: Get ready to Go Live

  • Attend your Family Experience Onboarding Session
  • Decide how your families will be signing their children in and out of the service see here
  • Set Up your preferred way of families signing in and out of the service
  • Create your Roster for Go Live Week (Centrebased Only)
  • Set up Parent Sign in & Out



Milestone 4: Go Live Week

  • Your Onboarding Specialist will connect your Service to the Ministry
  • Begin using Discover for your day to day Operations
  • Use the Discover sign in and out method you have chosen
  • To enter/change Attendances & Bookings see here
  • Attend your Go Live Session Q&A


Milestone 5: Parent Payments & Running Invoices

  • Attend your Parent Payments & Invoicing Onboarding Session   
  • Applying parent payments via your chosen method
  • Running your Invoicing


Milestone 6: Transition to Ongoing Support

  • Ask any questions you have about any of the processes or new queries that have come up since going live in Discover.
  • Then you will be handed over to our wonderful support team!
