Staff: Offboarding

If a staff member will be leaving your centre/s, there's a simple process to follow to ensure their profile and logins are deactivated at the right time.


Step 1 - Leaving Date


  1. Navigate to Staff > Staff List tab> Click the staff member's name.
  2. In the Staff Details tab, scroll down to Employment Details.
  3. Click the Calendar icon in the Leaving Date field and select the day they will be finishing.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Save'.

If the staff member is employed at multiple services, a pop-up window will be displayed, where the relevant centres can be selected.


Tick the check box next to each centre, or 'Select All' and click 'Set Leaving Date'.


A list of centres the staff member is associated with will appear in the Centres tab at the top of their staff profile. This will also show the leaving dates for each centre.


Step 2 - Revoking Access


After a staff member's last day has passed, their access to Discover and Playground can be withdrawn.


  1. Navigate to Staff > Staff List tab> Click the staff member's name.
  2. Scroll down to 'Ability to Login to Discover and Permissions'.
  3. Tick 'No Access'.
  4. Remove the tick from 'Enable Staff for Playground' if relevant.
  5. Scroll down to click 'Save'.
