Centrebased: Set Up your Roster Tasks

Click on Centre Settings

Click on the Roster Tab




Click on an existing Roster Task: For this example, click on Contact (or for a new task, click on Create New)


You can rename the function 

Change the Function Code

Change the Colour of the Background and the Text

Tick or Untick is Teaching / Is Paid / Is Leave / Is Break / Is Sick / Is Absent / Is Discretionary / is Active


Room: You can select the Room that is associated with this task. Eg. Pink can be Babies Staff Contact, Red Preschool Staff Contact and so on.


Add in any payroll codes 

Click on Save

Please Note:

The roster will automatically calculate ratios based on the Ministry requirements, as shown in  1.

If you prefer to calculate ratios by individual rooms, it's helpful to set up separate roster tasks for each room. 

You can then assign the relevant room to each task in the Roster Task settings.

Once a room is selected for a Roster Task (as shown in 2), the roster will display ratios specific to that room.


Ensure you have added / updated all tasks you require for the Roster incl Leave Types etc. 

The original Tasks in the Roster Tab are generated by default when we create your service.
