Children: Marketing Tab

The Marketing Tab located within the Child Profile is a useful tool to communicate and track correspondence with families during the Enquiry, Waitlist and Enrolment process in Discover.

Send Family Communication


The primary parent/guardian can be contacted via Email from the Marketing tab at each stage of the Enquiry/Enrolment process with pre-made templates or custom messages.


  1. Navigate to Children > select 'Waitlist' or 'Enquiry' filter/s > Select the Child.
  2. Click the 'Marketing' Tab.
  3. Select the relevant status from the 'Enquiry Status' dropdown.
  4. Click 'Send Notification'.*
  5. Adjust the text in the pop-up template if desired.
  6. Type in any Comments if needed (this will not be visible to the parent/guardian).
  7. Click 'Send'.


*Alternatively, clicking 'Save' will save the status without sending communication to the parent/guardian.



A full record of correspondence sent through the Marketing tab can be found at the bottom of the screen.




Updating Preferences


If at any stage, the family indicates they would like the change the number of days/which days they have requested, this information can be updated via the Marketing Tab.


  1. Navigate to Children > select 'Waitlist' or 'Enquiry' filter/s > Select the Child.
  2. Click the 'Marketing' Tab.
  3. Adjust the figure under the 'Up to how many days childcare do you need?' dropdown.
    And/Or
  4. Select/Deselect the days under the 'Days Wanted' dropdown.
    And/Or
  5. Adjust the Desired Start Date by clicking on the Calendar icon
  6. Click 'Save'.



Customising Marketing Tab Templates


The templates available in the Marketing tab can be customised to save time.


  1. Navigate to Centre Setup > Templates.
  2. Type in the name of the Template in the search bar.
  3. Click on the title of the template.
  4. Adjust the text as needed**.
  5. Upload any documents (if applicable)
  6. Click 'Send Test Email/SMS' or 'Save'.


At the top of the screen, the blue banner will provide shortcuts/replacement tags for the template to assist in minimising the need to edit when sending from the Marketing Tab.

  • Accepted Email
  • Contacted Email
  • Information Sent Email
  • New Enquiry Email
  • Not Interested Email
  • Place Offered Email
  • Post Tour Follow-up Email
  • Tour Completed Email
  • Tour Scheduled Email
