Oranga Tamariki & Government Departments

Within New Zealand there are various government departments that can fund a child's childcare enrolment fees.

Most of these departments require that you provide invoicing and statements by Child  and not collectively on one account, so you will need to set up one for each child.

We recommend naming the contact in such a way that you can easily identify each Oranga Tamariki account when looking at lists.

Set up the contact as a new contact on the Child and then set them as the Bill Payer.




On the Oranga Tamariki contact, you can then set other items like copying the financials to the Parent/Guardians email address.

Occasionally, they also require a Purchase Order which you could append to the Account Name field to have it appear on the invoice and statements.

All Payments received can then be coded directly to them as with any other Bill Payer.
