The Discover App allows Teachers to log sleep and nappy checks for children, which, when documented, will be saved as a record available to the Centre, and Parents/Guardians, if requested.

Logging Sleep Checks

  1. Log in to the Discover App and tap on the Sleep icon in the top menu.
  2. Select the Room, Date and Category if needed.
  3. Type the time, comments and temperature in to the relevant boxes next to each Child's name.
  4. Tap 'Save' at the bottom of the screen.

Logging Nappy Checks

  1. Log in to the Discover App and tap on the Nappies icon in the top menu.
  2. Select the Room, Date and Category if needed.
  3. Type the time, code and initials in to the relevant boxes next to each Child's name.
  4. Tap 'Save' at the bottom of the screen.

Email Records to Families

To set up emails to families, navigate to the Child Profile via Children in Discover.

On the Child Details screen, click on the "Send Nappy and Sleep Updates To" and select a contact to receive updates.

When the parent/guardian picks up their child and signs them out, Discover will email the Nappy and Sleep Chart details to the parent.

Viewing Sleep/Nappy Records

All Sleep and Nappy checks documented on the Discover app are able to be viewed by navigating to Reports > Checklists.
Nappy records can be found in the Nappy & Toileting Chart and Sleep records can be found in the Daily Sleep Chart.
