Navigating the Health Journey through the Care tab of the Home App.
 



Viewing Health Events

Families are able to view Health events their child or children have been tagged in.

Filter by Child/Children

To manage which health events are viewable on the timeline, follow the instructions below:

Select all children
Families should be able to easily select all the children they have permission to view the timeline for.
1. Tap on the top right circle icon to bring up the child selection screen.
2. Tap on ‘All children’
3. Tap ‘Next’
4. You should see the children's profiles listed under health journey.


Select a child
Families should be able to easily select an individual child to view their health journey timeline.
  1. Tap on the top right circle icon to bring up the child selection screen.
  2. Tap on the first child the user has permission to view
  3. Tap ‘Next’
  4. Families will only see the health profile for that selected child.




Timeline

At a quick glance, you can see any health events which have occurred during the day (6am-6pm) on the timeline.


We have now added the ability for you to see all of your health events across all hours of the day by rotating your screen to landscape (ensure that you have auto-rotate turned on for your device).


  • If there have been any health events during the day selected, icons should be displaying illustrating the type of health event. 

  • Pressing on the Timeline graph will take you to a view of all Health events.

Change Date
  1. Swipe left or right on the timeline graph to move the date viewed forward and backward.
  2. Press on the date label. pasted image 0 (12) (1).png
  3. A calendar picker should appear, press on another date and press ok.
  4. You should now be viewing the events on the day you selected.


    Health Display

    As a parent/guardian you want to easily review your child’s crucial health information while they were staying at of your care. 


    1. See the purple Sleep section. If the child has slept during the day the total sleep time should be displayed as hours and minutes.  If the child is currently sleeping the card will instead be coloured black with text notifying you the child is currently asleep.



    2. See the teal Nutrition section. The most recent nutrition event will display here if it has occurred. If there have been no nutrition events for the day, there will be text notifying you.

    3. See the red Toileting section. This will link through to any toileting events that have happened for the day.

    4. See the yellow Sun Protection section. This will link through to any sun protection events that have happened for the day.

    5. See the Medical Records list item. If there has been a recent medication or incident record a blue dot will display above the medical record icon.



     



View Health Event
  1. Press on the health events timeline at the top of the dashboard. 
  2. See a list of all the health events for the day. 
  3. Press an event. You should be able to see the type of event, if nutrition; what meal items there were, the first name of the educator who wrote it and the time it was created.
  4. If pressing on the event with a image.png icon, you should be able to see a public note written below the ‘NOTE’ title. 



 


See Week Health Information


  1. Press on the health events timeline at the top of the dashboard. 
  2. Press on the ‘Week’ button near the top bar. You should now be seeing a bar graph of the events for the current week.
  3. See the average number of events under the week label.




Change Week
  1. Press on the health journey timeline at the top of the dashboard. 
  2. Swipe left or right on the bar graph to move the week viewed forward and backward.
  3. Press on the date label.
  4. A calendar picker should appear, press on another date and press ok.
  5. You should now be viewing the events on the day you selected.

 


Parent Logging: Health Event

Parent/Guardians can now create health events for their child /children on the Home App. These health events can be viewed by educators on days the child is booked into care and also can be used by the families to track their child's health events on days their little one is not at the centre.

Events that can be created are:

  • Toileting
  • Nutrition
  • Medication
  • Sleep
  • 24 Hour Health Timeline: You can now view health events on a 24-hour timeline. Give it a try by rotating your phone into landscape mode on the Health Timeline screen.

Recording Sleep 

  1. Under Health Journey, tap on the purple sleep card.
  2. Tap on + to record your child’s sleep event.
  3. Select from the options “Slept well, Slept poorly”
  4. Select the time your child slept
  5. Select the time your child woke up.
  6. Add a note for additional information (optional).
  7. Tap Save

Recording Meals

  1. Under Health Journey, tap on the teal Nutrition card.

  2. Tap on + to record a new nutrition event for your child. You can add this nutrition even by specifying individual food items and drinks OR simply take a photo of the meal.

  3. Enter the nutrition record by specifying individual food items and drinks

  4. Select the food / drink item in the menu, or type into the search box and tapping "Use..." if it doesn't appear in the list.

  5. Use the “+” or “-” to indicate serving size

  6. Select the serving type (servings / grams in the drop down menu

  7. Indicate whether this was offered to your child but not eaten

  8. Record additional notes (optional)

  9. Tap “Add”

  10. Repeat this until you are satisfied with all the food and drinks offered

  11. Tap “Next”.

  12. Select “Meal Type”

  13. Select the time of this event

  14. Tap “Save”


OR


Enter the nutrition record by specifying individual food items and drinks

  1. Tap on “Upload Photo”.
  2. Select “Photo” to take a photo of meal, or “Gallery” to select a photo of the meal from your gallery.
  3. Record a description of the meal
  4. Select the meal type
  5. Select the time
  6. Indicate whether this was was offered to your child but not eaten
  7. Record additional notes (optional)
  8. Tap 'Save'

Recording Medication Administered

  1. Under Health Journey, scroll down and tap on “Medical Records”.
  2. Tap on + to record a new medication record.
  3. Select from the list of medication types available.
  4. Record the dosage and measurement.
  5. Record the way the medication was administered by selecting “oral” or “puffer”
  6. Record the date and time.
  7. Select the time you gave your child the medicine.
  8. Record the reason for administrating the medication.
  9. Tap 'Save'
