Bulk Communication

Administrators are able to communicate with groups of persons from within their Discover system using the Bulk Communications tab.




Administrators who are wanting to communicate with families and staff are able to filter whom they send communications to by selecting one, some or all of the options as follows:

  • Permanent Staff
  • Non-Permanant Staff
  • Staff Emergency Contacts
  • Staff with Access Pin
  • Enquiries
  • Current Children Primary Caregivers
  • Current Billpayers



Once selected, the administrator will be able to select the communication type:


Email


SMS




Tablet


This message will be displayed to the parent/guardian when they sign their child by using their pin on the Discover app.




Parent App Message


This message will be displayed on the parent/guardian's Home app in the Inbox tab.


Parent App Alert


This message will be displayed on the parent/guardian's Home app when signing their child in with the QR code.




  1. Once selected, administrators can further filter recipients through responding to the other data on the screen
  2. Once selected, the Available list will appear under recipients, administrators can move these in bulk or select individuals across to the selected recipients box
  3. Input the Email, SMS or Message details. 
  4. Administrators can preview the message 
  5. Once ready they can then send to the recipients
  6. Done



Administrators can view a log of sent Bulk Communications by navigating to:

  1. Centre
  2. Notes
  3. Bulk Communications




Administrators can view a log of sent Bulk Communications to individual contacts by navigating to:


  1. Staff
  2. Select Staff members profile
  3. Navigate to the Notes and Documents tab
  4. Navigate to the Bulk Communication Category
