Staff Tab
We have shifted the Staff Payroll information into a new tab on the Staff Profile called “Payroll”. If you were previously enabled with permission to view this information, this menu tab will be visible on the Staff Profile now for you to access.
Staff access levels that will provide access to payroll/HR information is as follows:
Basic HR access: payroll ID, department, IRD number, appraisal date, bank account, tax code and unique code. The staff member will be able to access non-HR notes and Basic HR access notes.
Full HR access: all of the above payroll fields and Hourly Rate & Hourly Rate Over Time. The staff member will be able to access non-HR notes, Basic HR access notes and Full HR access notes.
Staff Roster
On the Staff Roster, we have added the ability to see the recommended teacher/child ratios in fifteen minute increments in an adjustable, fixed side panel on the right of the roster. This breakdown can also be opened in an external window if you would prefer it to be separate. You can view this feature by clicking on the scales icon on the Staff Roster.
On the Roster Sheet, we’ve added the summarised time for an extended activity, eg. “Contact 7:30am - 12:30pm”. This is available for increments of 30 minutes or longer. You can toggle this view on by clicking the clock icon on the Staff Roster.
The Lock icon now only shows if there are staff rostered on for the day being viewed, and can be toggled on using the lock icon on the Staff Roster. Access to this feature can be updated in the Staff Profile.
We’ve adjusted the menu items for the Roster Access settings on the Staff Profile to separate locking, and confirming the roster as two separate permissions for each user. We have also updated the language to make the line between locking functionality and confirming functionality clearer.
The “Show Under/Over Staffing” dropdown in the Staff Forecasting report now behaves as expected.
Reports
There has been a report built under System Setup that allows centres using Debit Success to see details of the Primary Bill Payer, the children they’re associated with, and their contact information, and if they have a Debit Success account.
The Homebased Service Balance report has been adjusted so it prints correctly when there are more than two children in a family.
WINZ will calculate correctly in the Homebased Payments report for children that have multiple teachers in one week.
Debit Success
A check has been implemented when saving Debit Success API credentials to ensure Active Bill Payers do not receive the initial Welcome Email too soon.
Debit Success payments that have been processed have clearer feedback on the Transactions view for a Bill Payer.
Bonds
If the centre is holding a bond for multiple siblings, the Invoice/Statement will indicate as such.
Payroll
We have adjusted the most recent iPayroll Flexitime Unit payroll export to separate activities based on Function Codes. If all function codes are the same, the hours will be combined into the same row. If the function changes, the row will be split, allowing for separation of activities like ‘sick leave’.
