Tēnā koutou katoa,

We’re committed to continuously improving Discover and have some exciting updates to share with our services this week.

Features & Enhancements

These features are available now!

  • The Child Details report has been upgraded to allow multi-selection, enabling you to generate reports for multiple centres of your choice. In the past, users could only select a single centre or all centres at once. This enhancement now provides the flexibility to generate reports for a specific subset of centres when needed.
  • When creating ad hoc invoices, users can now choose to exclude the charges from the FamilyBoost quarterly statement. This is in line with feedback from IRD to ensure that optional charges not related to the education of children be excluded.

Bug Fixes

  • Error when sending financial transactions report: An error preventing the financial transactions report from being generated and sent when selecting many centres has been identified and resolved. The report will now be generated and sent regardless of the number of centres selected.

FamilyBoost Q4 Statements

These statements will be available from 1 January 2025.

FamilyBoost Quarterly statements for Q4 2024 (October to December) will be available in Discover from 1 January 2025.

  • For services that have turned on bulk action, these statements will be sent to families on Monday, 6 January 2025.

  • For services that have opted out of bulk action, you will be able to distribute quarterly statements to families at your preferred time from 1 January.

Reminder: You can now preview the Quarterly Statements prior to sending them to families by ticking the “Email Invoices/Statements To Centre Only” checkbox in the invoice settings.
