Release Notes: v1.23.3

These features will be available to customers from 1st February 2023.

Electronic Attendance Verification

• We have added a flag to disable EAV reminders being sent to primary caregivers, provided the children have a Leaving Date populated that is past the current day’s date. These children will still be included in the administrator reminder emails, but in a table below the existing table, with the assumption that the caregivers have signed off on attendance externally from Discover.

Pay Parity Tracking

• The updated Pay Rate table that has been added to the Payroll tab for a staff member will now also be used in the following reports: Employment Details, Staff Profile and Staff Details.

• The Hourly Rate and Overtime Hourly Rate fields have been migrated and merged into the new Payroll table.
• This allows administrators to organise pay rate changes ahead of time and have Discover automatically switch to the new pay rate on the entered date. 
• For any previous data entered into the old fields, they will have moved into the new table with a random date in the past.

Centre Selector

• We’ve fixed the top left centre selector, made it into three columns and activated the search bar in the top right immediately after clicking, so you can start typing to find the centre you need immediately.

Debit Success

• We’ve adjusted the Debit Success Direct Debits report to give clearer information when hovering over the Payment Status badge. Instead of clicking “View Detail”, that information now shows while hovering over a particular status in the Payment Status column. 

• We have added a pop-up alert when unticking “Pay by Direct Debit” that warns the user that this will not cancel the parent/guardian account. This gives administrators the information they need to ensure the parent or guardian doesn’t accidentally get charged after cancelling their automatic billing.

Miscellaneous 

• The Teacher Certification terminology used has been updated to reflect both the Teaching Council and MOE’s usage.

• We have added a support article link to the Pay by Direct Credit feature that links to our Knowledge Base to walk users through how the feature works.

Bug Fixes

• The Child Profile Report no longer prints an additional page. 
• The Row Height option has been fixed on the Weekly Forecast report.
