We have some exciting updates to share with our services. You can add additional subscribers to our emailed release notes here.
These features will be available to customers from 16th February 2023.
Discover
Staff Profile
Due to recent updates from the Ministry of Education, collecting vaccination information is no longer required. We’ve added a control under Centre Settings > Staff Fields for vaccination information that by default is set to hidden. Ticking “Collect Vaccination Information” and saving will show the fields that were previously there, or allow administrators to gather that information if they wish.
Pay Parity Tracking
Steps 7-11 have been added to our Pay Parity tracking feature.
A table has been added under the Staff Settings tab to allow a quick overview of the staff that are currently having their hours tracked. This table is visible only to users with Full HR Access.
Pay by Direct Credit
We’ve added an alert on the page if bank account details are missing for any of the Billpayers included in the Pay by Direct Credit report.
At the bottom of the Homebased Service Balance report, we’ve added a link direct to the support article that explains this feature for anyone that might need additional help.
Bug Fixes
- For Group Users, the Homes Tab for Educators has been restored and can be found back in between "Associates and Notes and Documents"
- Playcentre visitor enrolments should now trigger the correct template and the replacement tags inside the email template have been fixed up to show correctly.
- “Show Start Date” date in the Child Monthly Attendance report has been corrected to show Start Date from child profile rather than the most recent enrolment in Discover.
- Staff can now login without issue if the Occupancy Widget is showing on the dashboard.
- Children are now being correctly moved from the Enquiries tab across to the Waitlisted tab when the enrolment status is updated.
- Child alerts are no longer showing HTML code in some alerts.
- Date of Birth is now correctly validating when signing up to Debit Success via the Home App. Wording on the Home App pre-sign up and post-sign up has also been corrected.
- Families can now add card or bank details through Home App as expected.
Playground
This is as an opt-in basis only. If you would like to use this feature, please contact our Support Team or your AE to have this switched on for you.
Observations
The Playground app is designed to empower teachers to help them document the core events of caring for children, such as nappy changes, sunscreen application and health events. A key element of the journey for teachers is to observe the child's journey each day via Observations in Playground.
We are increasing the maximum number of photos in an observation from 16 to 32. This will enable educators/teachers to be more expressive with their observations by including more pictures than before. Simplifying and enhancing this experience is essential to the key functionality of the Home and Playground applications.
