These features will be available to customers from 2nd March 2023.



Children/Enrolments

  • We’ve seen the rapid votes in Canny for improving the sort order of children’s Contacts. We’ve implemented a change to sort the list by Primary Contacts first and then have a secondary sort order in which the remaining contacts are listed Alphabetically. 

  • For statutory holidays in the enrolment form, Queen’s Birthday has been updated to King’s Birthday. 


Pay Parity Tracking

  • Dashboard alerts for staff having hours tracked for pay parity are now enabled. When staff are approaching the next step, or if a staff member has exceeded the 2080 hours required for the next step, an alert will appear on the dashboard for administrators to action. 





Invoices

  • We have added another option for Automatic Invoicing called “Send Overdue Statements Only”. This setting will send a Statement Reminder to any Bill Payers that have an Overdue Statement. For a statement to be considered overdue, Discover looks at the due date and the balance owed. If the due date has been passed and there is an amount owing over the “Reminders Greater Than” setting, Discover will send an email one day after the Due Date. 



Playground

This update will be live on 28 February.

Terminology Update: Documents
The concept of Documentation has existed to enable educators and teachers to create documents to engage in creating learning programs for children. There are other variations, such as Canvas and Tables, that provide educators with the flexibility to use a format that works for them. We are cleaning up the terminology are changing ‘Documentation’ to ‘Documents’ to create consistency across the naming in the application and to better align with the sector.




Bug Fixes

  • Our survey pop-up powered by AskNicely should now appear correctly for users. Thank you for your feedback so far! 
  • We’ve corrected the grammar for the Leave Application email to improve readability. 
  • For the Children Attendance report and Daily Attendance report, we’ve changed the ordering when ticking “Group by Room” to be sorted both by Room ID (hidden field) and Alphabetically. 
  • On the Marketing tab for children, we’ve improved the preview hover of emails. Initially, you’ll see a small preview of the email, which you can click to see the full email as a pop-up. 
  • The Optional Charges section should be back on the Blank Enrolment form. 
  • We’ve corrected the Centre Funding Report ensuring that if the Parity or Band options are changed, the report accurately reflects that change. The Invoice value has also been fixed to correctly display the relevant amount. 
  • Users should be correctly redirected when clicking on Emergency Closure and/or Centre Holiday help links in the Centre Calendar.
