Release Notes: v1.23.8

These features will be available to customers from 13th April 2023.

Reports

• Additional options have been added to the Staff Details report. If the report fields “Teacher Cert” and/or “Teacher Cert Expiry” are selected, two new options become available: Include Previous Certifications and Include ‘Other’ Qualifications. Ticking either of these checkboxes will display additional rows for any staff member with previous experience recorded. 

Frequent Absences

• Coming from Canny, we have added a new Bulk Action to the list called “Reverse Absence Exemptions”. Running this for the selected date range will remove absence exemptions from any child that has an exemption for that date range.

Pay by Direct Credit

• The Export to BNZ function in the Pay by Direct Credit feature has been improved to allow edit capability on the credit amounts shown in the report. Each amount can be adjusted as desired which updates the bill payers account dynamically and will export the adjusted amount when clicking the Export to BNZ button. 

Bug Fixes

• The Staff Forecast report no longer prints a blank page. 
• The Daily Checklist report no longer prints a blank page. 
• The sort order options for the Staff Hours by Activity now work as expected. 
• Visitor or standard enrolments that start on the same day as they are created on the tablet will no longer have the enrolment status “Future” and will be able to be signed in with the PIN as before. 
• EAV email reminders will now only go to Primary Carers - this check has been strengthened to make sure it’s just Primary Carers that receive the email. 
• When editing a Home address under the Homes tab on a staff member, Discover will not update the Homebased staff address if it’s the same address. The same applies for the inverse - updating the staff member’s address will not update the Homes tab address. We’ve added an info icon on the Homes tab address field for clarity surrounding expected behaviour.
