Release Notes: v1.23.10

Modified on Thu, 10 Aug, 2023 at 3:13 PM

We’re committed to continuously improving Discover and have some exciting updates to share with our services this week.

You can add additional subscribers to our emailed release notes here.

These features will be available to customers from 11th May 2023.

Reports

  • We’ve added a new report called “Pay Parity - Tracked Hours” that shows any staff member being tracked for pay parity, their active step and contributing hours based on roster activity. This report can be run across multiple centres if part of a group or chain.
To access, navigate to Reports > Staff Reports.
Additionally, we’ve released upgraded functionality inside this report which will be rolled out to the most common reports over the next few releases. This not only allows more control inside the report but easier sorting of data, more exporting options and streamlined printing (including removal of the ‘extra blank page’ bug!). We are so excited for our users to experience better functionality in our data table reports!

Bug Fixes

  • Alerts for expiring driver's licenses have been fixed and removed.
  • Columns in the Weekly Attendance view now scroll correctly.
  • Bill payers said they received a “payment failed” email when they hadn’t signed up for payments. We’ve made a change to ensure the “Pay by Direct Debit” checkbox is ticked before sending the email. In some cases, this might mean that a bill payer that has agreed to terms and conditions but has not proceeded to put their payment details in will receive this email. However, they will only receive it once, as Discover then unticks “Pay by Direct Debit” automatically if no payment details are saved.
  • Bulk Communications that were addressed to Staff will now correctly send.

Playground

These features will be available to customers from 9th May 2023.

Toileting events: Enable selection of multiple toileting events

The Playground application, included in the Parent Engagement Software (PES), has been designed to empower educators and teachers in taking care of children's core needs, such as nappies, sunscreen and health events. However, the current version only allows one option for toileting events, which restricts the user's ability to select multiple options, which is a common practice. In this new release, educators/teachers can now select multiple toileting events, saving them a significant amount of time.
