Features & Enhancements

These features are available now!

Bulk Action: Print Child Reports

  • A new (Centre) Bulk Action has been added to select and consolidate multiple Child Profile reports for a group of children. This will give administrators an easier way of completing their requirement to check a child’s details at least once a year. Since consolidating many Child Reports is an intensive task, the status of this task will be visible while being completed to allow a user to complete it via the recently released My Workspace feature.

ECE Hours Enhancement

  • A new field on the Enrolment page allows administrators to enter the number of ECE Hours the child is receiving elsewhere. This will impact the calculation of available ECE Hours for the enrolment. It has also been added as a parameter on the Child Details report.

Bug Fixes

  • Previously, child health information listed in Discover, excluding allergies, was not visible in Playground. Now, teachers will be able to see additional information related to childhood diseases, diagnoses, disabilities, medications and dietary information.

  • Updates to cached information will improve the performance of the platform.

  • An issue causing ECE Census questions to not appear for new or leaving teachers has been resolved. Previously, some questions were not displaying correctly despite being within the correct date ranges.

Playground

This feature will be available from Friday, 20 September, 2024.

Reflections in Posts

Teachers can now add reflections directly to their Posts. Previously, reflections from historic Observations could only be viewed under the ‘More’ panel (while editing a Post).

Now, teachers can seamlessly capture insights in real time when viewing a Post. Reflections are only visible to other teachers in the service, which helps streamline workflows and ensures that key insights are documented and shared within the team more efficiently and contextually.
