4. XplorPay in Discover Tips & Tricks

The below steps will need to be followed for each Billpayer that you are unable to add details for.


Having trouble adding in the Billing Details for the Billpayer  into Discover?


You are trying to add Payment Details to a Parent Account from the Payment Method Tab.
You have ticked the T&Cs, click on Submit


Once you know your DS Integration is complete (Payments Onboarding will confirm via Email) go to
  • Reports > Children > Contacts
  • Select the Below Fields - DOB, Email, Mobile, Full Contact Address, Direct Debit PaymentWhich Contact = Billpayer
  • Get Report



For example:
Each of these Billpayers are missing Mandatory Information

This needs to be added via the Contact Profile before trying to add their Payment Details again


The Bill Payer Must Have:
  • First Name 
  • Last Name
  • Mobile
  • DOB
  • Email Address
  • Address - Address selected from Google Maps Drop Down
    Sometimes if the address is too long, this will also impact the set up
    Change Road to Rd, Street to St etc
  • In the Billpayer Details > 
    Pay by direct debit/credit ticked


Ensure all of these fields - especially Suburb have populated


Once you have checked all the above information:

Go to the Children Menu
Click On the Billpayer



Go to the Contact Details Tab


Add in any missing information
Scroll to the Bottom 

Click on Save


Go back to the Payment Methods Tab



Tick to agree to the T&Cs
Click on Submit Form
Click on Ok


Select Create a Payment Method
Select Bank Details

Add in the Name of the Account

Account Number

Click on Create



This Parents Billing will be picked up on the next designated Billing Day!
