Discover Release Notes 30 January 2026

We’re committed to continuously improving Discover and have some system enhancements to share with our services this week.

These features will be available as of Friday, 30 January.

Staff profile screen: The wording has been updated to correctly display ‘Is Certificated Teacher’ instead of ‘Is Registered Teacher.’ This change only applies to the staff profile and profile report, with no impact on the return submission screen.
Forgot password link: Fixed an issue with the ‘Forgot password’ link for first-time users. New users can now successfully reset their passwords.
Quarter selection for sending statements: Centres can now choose from a rolling list of recent financial quarters, including the current quarter and past periods where allowed. Older quarters are automatically removed as new ones are added, preventing duplicates. Statements can be sent for past quarters or run early for the current quarter.
Tablet notifications: Fixed an issue where tablet notifications were not being sent.
Improved validation for the billing start week field: The existing validation message now remains visible when the field is left empty. A clear message is displayed if the billpayer’s billing start week is earlier than the service’s billing start week, and it is removed when the entered week is valid.
