Custom fields allow centres to create additional fields to appear on Child Profiles.
. These can be in formats to suit a variety of possible fields:
- Text
- Date
- Checkbox
- Dropdown
Custom Fields can be found in Centre Settings > Child Fields Tab
There are 2 types of fields that can be created:
1. Permission fields appear on the enrolment form (both the online version that parents fill out and the preprinted forms) and take the form of True/False fields only.
2. General fields do not appear on the enrolment form, but have more flexibility in terms of input types - they can accept text, dates, lists and checkboxes.
By default, Discover may come with several permission fields already set up. However, these can be deleted or changed as needed to customise them for your centre.
To create a Custom field, click Create New.
- Field Type: General or Permission
